Multilingual Print Design and DTP Services

Working from InDesign source files is strongly preferred as it produces the highest quality output and the most accurate text reflow. Where only PDFs are available, we can retype and reset the document, though this adds to project cost and timeline. If you have access to any source files, even older versions, please provide them.

We address text expansion at the DTP stage by adjusting font size, tracking, and leading within brand tolerances, reflowing copy across additional pages where layout permits, and flagging to the client any instances where copy must be edited for length rather than simply resized. We provide a brief before finalizing layouts so the copy team can see exactly where reduction is needed.

We can coordinate print production through our network of country-specific print suppliers as an optional add-on service. This covers obtaining quotes, managing proof approvals, and overseeing delivery. For clients who prefer to manage print locally, we deliver pre-press ready files in the format specified by their local supplier.
